Charge your electric car with the sun on your roof.
Six solar panels, an inverter and a 7 kW wall charger, installed at your home. During the day your car charges on solar power. At night it switches to the grid on its own.
One kit, installed and ready to charge.
We bring everything, install it to RETIE code (Colombia's electrical safety standard) and hand over your car charging.
Solar panels
3.3 kWp on your roof. They produce about 10 kWh a day in Bogotá and about 14 kWh on the Caribbean coast.
Inverter
Converts the panels' power for your home and your charger, and blends in grid power when there isn't enough sun.
Wall charger
Status light, Bluetooth and WiFi app, and access card. With your car's connector, Type 1 or Type 2.
Installation and permits
Site visit, mounting, wiring, RETIE certification and the self-generation filing with your utility.
From your roof to your car, with no change to your routine.
Sun hits the panels
The panels turn light into electricity from sunrise on.
The inverter routes it
It powers the charger and the house first. Any surplus can go to the grid.
The charger fills the battery
At 7 kW you add about 40 km for every hour plugged in.
You track it in the app
Schedule charging for sunny hours and see how much it charged.
What about at night, or when it rains? The charger draws from the grid automatically. Your car always charges. The sun just makes it cheaper.
How much of your driving can the sun cover?
Enter your numbers. We use your city's average sun hours and the real output of a 3.3 kWp kit.
Reference estimate. The real figure comes from the site visit: roof orientation, shade and your local climate.
The surplus runs your fridge, lights and the rest of the house, so your total bill drops by more than the car savings alone.
A small panel on a charging post won't charge a car.
Some chargers are sold as "solar" with a tray-sized panel on top. That panel makes about 40 W and powers the charger's display, but the car still charges from the grid. To drive on sunshine you need panels on the roof.

Built to live outdoors.
It handles rain, direct sun and knocks. Mount it on your garage wall or on a post in the parking space.

What people ask before getting a quote.
What if my car isn't home during the day?
Your house uses the solar power. Any surplus can be fed into the grid as a self-generator, through the filing we handle with your utility under CREG Resolution 174 of 2021.
Do I need permits?
The installation is certified under RETIE and we handle the paperwork with your utility (Enel, EPM, Air-e, Celsia, ESSA or another). You just sign.
Will it work with my car?
Yes, if it's a fully electric or plug-in hybrid car. We supply it with your car's connector, Type 1 or Type 2.
Are there tax benefits?
Colombia's Law 1715 of 2014 gives incentives for solar investments, such as a VAT exclusion and an income tax deduction, with UPME certification. We'll tell you in the quote whether you qualify.
I live in a gated complex. Can I install it?
It depends on whether you have your own parking space and roof access. You'll usually need approval from the building administration. We check it on the site visit.
How much does it cost?
It depends on your roof, the distance to your parking space and your home's electrical supply. Message us and we'll send a quote after seeing photos or visiting.
